INSTEK LCR-829 200 kHz Precision LCR Meter

The GW Instek LCR-829 is a high-end digital LCR meter for component/material measurements, applicable to various R&D activities and assembly lines. The large 240 x 128 dot matrix LCD display provides ample room for two measurement items and setup parameters. All test modes are able to measure supplementary factors, such as, R/Q, C/D, C/R, and L/Q. 100 sets of measurement setup memory allow sharing a single unit among multiple testing conditions or sites. For a better viewing experience in a standard PC monitor, proprietary Windows based software is accessible via the RS-232C terminal. Specifications. Test Frequency: 12 Hz to 100 kHz (503 steps). Basic Accuracy: 0.1%. Test Speed: 34 ms. Test Signal Levels: 5 mV to 1.275 Vrms ( 5 mV/step ). DC Bias Internal: 2 V. DC Bias External: 0 to 30 V. Display Range Resistance: 0.00001 ohm to 99999 k-ohm. Display Range Capacitance: 0.00001 pF to 99999 uF. Display Range Inductance: 0.00001 mH to 99999 H. Test Mode: R/Q, C/D, C/R, L/Q. Memory: 100 memory blocks total.

dBm
dBm (sometimes dBmW) is an abbreviation for the power ratio in decibels (dB) of the measured power referenced to one milliwatt (mW). Zero dBm equals one milliwatt. A 3 dB increase represents roughly doubling the power, a 3 dB decrease, the power is reduced by about one half.

Millimeter-wave
Millimeter-wave is a term that generally refers to frequencies of 26.5 GHz and above. That is where signal wavelengths fall below approximately 10 mm, and thus the terminology changes from centimeters to millimeters.

Power Repeatability
Power Repeatability is the random uncertainty in reproducing the power level after changing and re-setting the power level. The power repeatability is ± half the span (in dB) between the highest and lowest actual power. Note: - The long-term power repeatability can be obtained by taken the power repeatability and power stability into account.

Stability
Stability is the extent to which a specified property, characteristic, or parameter of a substance, device, or apparatus, remains fixed with the passage of time or with varying environmental conditions.
